Princesa Garden Island Resort

My recent trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan was the most chill and relax vacation I ever experienced. Instead of following the normal tourist route, we decided to have a laid back getaway and stayed to different resorts. On our last day, we chose to stay at Princesa Garden Island Resort that is only 5 minutes away from the airport.

Here are some photos from our trip. The swimming pool is chlorine-free with the size of 1,640 sqm. There’s a kiddie pool and lap pool, as well as jacuzzi. We booked two Princesa Classic rooms that can accommodates 3-4 pax. Price starts from P9500+. It is huge and have complete amenities. It also has a balcony facing the swimming pool.I find these rooms interesting because they have direct access to the pool. Though, these rooms are more expensive than the rooms we booked. If you want to know the most expensive type of room in the resort, it is the Water Villa. It has its own Jacuzzi and is facing a great view of the ocean. Price starts from P27000+. You may check the exact rate of the rooms at their website. We had our complimentary buffet breakfast at Rice Restaurant. They have a wide selection of International and Filipino food which we really enjoyed. Also there are other bars and restaurants that you may try inside the resort. They are serving different cuisines like Thai and Italian. For lunch we tried their pasta and pizza at Tomato and Basil Cuccina Italiana, while for dinner we ate at the Golden Elephant. Food is great especially the Thai food. 👌🏼

The resort offers a 1 hour complimentary bicycles and non-motorized water sports facilities. My siblings and I tried kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Aside from doing water activities, we also went to the mini sandbar. Since it is low tide, we walk for around 10-15 minutes from the resort to the sandbar. But when the water is high, there’s a boat that can be use and its for FREE!There are plenty of small and big starfish around the area. This one is a gem!Photo-op on the sandbar. You will never get bored here in the resort since there’s a lot of things to do. But if you opt to tour around PPS, they have an in-house travel and tours. They also offer free shuttle to and from the airport. Plus, the staff are very accommodating. My family and I really had a great time here. So, if you’re going to ask me if I will recommend this resort? My answer is, of course, YES!!! Thank you for reading! Happy travels! ♥️
